The Atlantic coast is the place
for surfing. Cocoa Beach is about one hours drive from
Highlands Reserve. Here you will find the famous "Ron Jon Surf
Shop".
Daytona Beach is an excellent
day out, here you can actually drive onto the beach! The Daytona

West Coast
The Gulf coast beaches are our
favourites with their wonderful sandy beaches and fantastic
sunsets. Clearwater, at the top of the Pinellas Suncoast has a
lovely sandy beach and dolphins can often be seen playing in the
port area. St Pete's Beach is a classic wide sandy beach that
stretches for three miles and offers good water sports
facilities. A little further down the coast will bring you to
Sarasota. Here you will find Lido Key, one of the best
sugar-white sandy beaches, that stretches for two miles.
Clearwater and St Pete's are about two hours drive from Orlando
and Sarasota is about two and half hours drive. |
